The fundamental purpose of prayer - Stephan

The purpose of prayer. Prayer was never the will of God. We pray now as a response to God.

Gen 4:26 Son of Seth was the first to call on the name of God. Prayer and worship. After no longer walking with God. After bloodshed happened, no more walking with God. Prayer started.

It’s a secondary form of communication with God. Now after the blood of Jesus we can now both walk with God and pray. Fellowship. It’s important what you do 30 minutes before you go to bed. Helps your dream life.
The ultimate purpose of prayer is to enter into the REST of God.

Gen 2:1 GOD Rested on the seventh day from all his work.

Spirit, Soul, and Body all at rest. Matt. 26;37 Jesus at garden was troubled. Tarry with me here and watch. Prayed that if possible let this cup pass from me. Your second time for prayer is now into unbelief. Instead you use your authority now. Declare the result.

Philipians 4:6 don’t take care for anything. Make your requests known by prayer. Let petitions and praises remove worry and enter into a rest.
