The Presence of God
The person of God. Look yourself in the mirror. Just like you have hands, eye, mouth he also has these things. Your are in the image and likeness of God.
The person of God is sitting on a Throne in heaven. But his presence can leave the throne and be on earth in the form of the Holy Spirit.
If you go to heaven and see God on the Throne you wil look for Jesus and he is seated on the throne. All of who God is is in Jesus. God will not leave his throne. He is here in the form of the Holy Spirit. The angel of his presence. Isaih 63:9 the angel of God’s presence. HS. This is called Omnipresence. The first dimension.
Psalm 139:7 You can’t escape the presence of God.
Second dimension called the Active Presence of God. Matthew 18:20 example. Where two of more gathered. When you are alone the first dimension of presence is with you. But where two or three are together you will find my presence there. Second dimension. Active Presence.
If you are by yourself and get into an accident god’s presence is inactive.
Third dimension is manifest presence. John 14:21 And I will manifest myself to him. This is a real manifestation. This is PROOF of his prescence. When the manifestation takes place, healing is not there. What is there is lightning, power, glory, and smoke. The ark of the covenant represented the presence of God. Enemies afraid of the ark. There was a veil. Physical darkness enhances the presence. No competition for the light of God. The glory of God is the manifest presence of God. When you are in total LOVE, it brings the manifest prescence. The words sound so simple, but why aren’t we doing it?
Fourth dimension is the indwelling presence. God is everywhere but not in every person. He is inside certain people. God decides to put his presence inside of a human.
Ephesions 3;19 That ye might be filled with the fulness of God.
The fullness presence is different from being filled with the presence. Who is filled and who is full. Thin versus fat. Both are Christians but one can have a richer measure of the presence. Jerome’s presence is probably more than mine. We have the same Holy Spirit. But there is something Jerome knows that gives him a richer experience. Analogy of thin and fat. It does not mean you have less of God.
Ephesians 3:19 AMP The richest measure versus regular measure of his presence. When this measure increases in your life you will eat less. How do you increase the measure of the HS? The fullness of God is the measure you need to increase. It means God has parts. He can be IN an individual but not manifest certain parts. Aircraft- order a meal and they have run out of that meal. the flight was filled but the flight was not FULL. It means everything you need for your journey is there. There is a certain measure of his presence you can’t see. To increase the master key is Love. Need to walk in love. Heart and mind must be free. God will seem like his is far away while he is in you because your heart and mind is not free. Heart, Unforgiveness, dishonor, offence, You mind - anxiety, your past, phone, failures, worries, wondering can block you. Chair example. Practice quietness. Turn off lights, chair, remove everything for a period of time. Be Quiet!!! Your mind and heart filters out all the muck inside. The mind and heart are the two determinates of the presence. When Jesus after resurection walked into a room of fear he said Peace. Peace will guard your heart and mind. Not a vacation. No peace of mind or heart. It’s not in everyone. Calmness is the proof. No drama. You must be calm to calm a storm. Start practicing the presence of God.
The Fifth dimension is presence of God in a location. Why do you come to the miracle dome. It is the presence in a location. In this presence is the fullness of joy. Not same presence in an airplane versus the Dome. Heaven is a location. How much presence is in our home? How much in your car? Jacob got visitation and called it Bethel and built an altar. God put Adam in Eden. That location was saturated with the presence of God. Why did Jesus take the disciples up a mountain? Mountains are important because the top of a mountain is quiet. When you go to a hotel is God there? Who used it prior? Japan- he can walk into a hotel room and know what happened prior. Disneyland - Is God in there? There are locations where God is NOT like the miracle dome. At those times make sure you are carrying God’s presence with you. Don’t neglect quiet time. Door closed, no lights, no distractions. In a forest presence is sensed due to quiet. When God created trees his presence in trees and animals.
**This message is only good if you make a decision after hearing it. Did you increase your quiet time? Husband needs to take the lead in prayer. Maintain Love. Quiet Time. Church Attendance. Maintain a Free Heart and Mind. **
Faith can not be felt but the presence of God can be felt.
